Any time I am creating a new character I am filled with curiosity, joy and wonder. Acting is a special conduit to the purest form of creation. We take what the writer gives us, and we dig deeper. We uncover the entirety of that character: who she is, what makes her tick, what makes her heart sing, what makes her want to kill. And then we get to deliver that work to the world on a medium that never dies. It’s extraordinarily fulfilling and I’ll never stop doing it.

Nothing fills me with more joy than the creative writing process. I get to create each quirky character, every gorgeous scene location, and each peculiar plot twist. With well-developed characters, the story almost writes itself. The hours fly by when I get going on a screenplay and it takes a forklift (or the smell of dinner) to get me out of my chair!
